Hi! Michelle here. I also go by SuperLowBudge. I'm a freelance writer and editor, something I've done for years even while holding down full time corporate and start-up jobs.
I work easily with start-ups, corporations, educators, grad students, authors, artists & musicians and plenty more. Once I wrote the menu descriptions for a cool little cafe...really good focaccia.
Professionally I've written a lot for the companies I've worked for, and more recently for publicists and marketers. I've been providing fresh product descriptions, engaging press releases, event & trade show materials, UX materials, even some Kickstarter campaigns. I've done structural and copy editing for a style/fashion author. I was an English major in college, and I have a certificate in both Tech Writing and Book Editing. I am familiar with the APA, MLA, and CMOS styles.
I am also proficient in pop culture features and reviews on music, TV and movies. I blog about that, and about Gen X culture, women's issues, politics, mental health, and stroke survival.
I believe that all writing should be creative writing!
